As of the 1st of July 2023, GPHealth Hackham Clinic will become a mixed billing clinic and no longer bulk billing all patients.
We have had to make the tough decision to change because of years of Government freezes to the Medicare rebate and as of November only increases to the bulk billing incentive for patients on concession cards, therefore as of 1st of July 2023 the following changes.
The following will continue to be bulk billed.
– If you are aged 16 years and under
– Concession/ Pension and DVA Card Holders
– GP Management Plans
– Health Assessments
– Mental Health Care Plans
– (Accepted) Workcover claims
If you do NOT have the above, there will be a co-payment (out of pocket expense) of $20.00 per consultation.
This includes phone consults.
Patients will be required to pay the full fee (Medicare and co-payment) at the time of the consultation. The Medicare rebate will be reimbursed into your account.
